THE FORSAKEN PROPHECY!

Battle cry, distant songs of war
Clinging axes with one accord
9 feet giants, in iron amour
Colored teeth like piano keys
Brutish anger in every breath
Rallying after the master warlord

We're at war! We're at war!
All that echoes in human minds,
When they stump their huge feet
Against the dry earth beneath
Men are no longer men
Women and children, insignificant

Alas! Fear has gripped us all

The scavengers have sensed it
An impending bumper harvest
They fill the skies in their numbers
Flying around in wait
For the separation of soul from body
The carcass of them too weak
Perhaps strong enough to embrace death

The end has beckoned
While we still slumber
A prophecy taken for granted
We should have listened!
Enslaved by arrogance
Soaked in insolence
We should have heeded!

Flee! Said, the revelation
Yet haughty as we were
We chose to stay and fight
Bravery or foolishness?

Well, the giants have come
And we are no better prepared
Drunken from hard liquor
Our death has come
The Holy Books are fulfilled!

TONIGHT!

Hand me that bouquet
For I found the special someone
Tonight will be good
A red dress will be cool

Tonight she's giving it all out
To one solely deserving
It will be such a night
It will be worth the wait

"He loves none but me
A prince made just for me
He made the glow on my cheeks
He made the smile on ma face

He might not like flowers
But this bouquet is for him
It's more than just flowers
A token of my appreciation"

Knock knock on his door
Surprise! Prince Charming
And there he lay on his bed
With another lady in his bosom

Her hands turned feeble
Too weak to hold the flowers
She still wore her smile
Yet to come to terms with reality

They were both asleep
Her presence wasn't noticed
And so she left a note
"Tonight was meant for us"

Her heels couldn't hold her
She walked home bare footed
And straight to the shower
With her pretty red dress

It was such a night
The longest night of her life
Her longest night in the shower
Laughing with tears on her cheeks!

MASK OF SMILES

The crescent shape between her lips
Far extending into her cheeks
The golden glow in her eyes
Perfect portrait of a smile

She goes nowhere without this mask
Natural mask of perfect beauty
When your eyes do behold,
Her mask of smiles will warm your heart

You cannot help but look twice
Conspicuously white glittering teeth
Yet it's true as they say,
All that glitters is not Gold

Her smile is all the world sees
But the wise might have noticed
Noticed why I call it a mask
Her treasured mask of smiles

Beneath this mask, thoughts can't fetch
A perpetually bleeding soul
A brutishly bruised spirit
A dungeon of wailings

A girl's life like a castle
A forbidden castle
In a desolate city
Within the valley of darkness

For what she has seen
What she has heard
And what's been meted upon her
Our shallow minds cannot fathom

Yet she smiles
Everyday her mask heals
Heals not only her
It heals the world!

THE VALENTINE NOTE

The walls still bleed
The walls of the prison
The prison that kept St. Valentine
From whence he wrote his note
To the daughter of Asterius
The note that birthed the quote
'......From your Valentine'

The hearts still bleed
The hearts of the men
The men who witnessed the martyrdom
Of one who died for love
Who suffered of the tyranny
The tyranny of Emperor Claudius II

The name has lived on
O! Sweet Saint Valentine
Roman Priest of Whitefriars street
May we have a heart like yours
To preach love from dungeons

And so, to you, my love
Yeah! You, who read this note
May your heart never frail,
And for a second ponder
That I will be here only in good times

May bad times never come
But when they do
You have my word
This love will never fade

From, the bleeding walls
Of the Emperor's dungeons
I write these words
......from your Valentine!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DR. RICHARD TIA II

Here we wake again
To a day of no disdain
Here we come again
With joy and bliss to gain

If the clock had her way
Her hands won't strike away
An end may never befall this day
Everyday might be today

Defying the mechanics of Quantum
The power love yields over a Magnum
The few who fathom these two lines
Gather here in body, soul and minds

And so with one accord we sing
Of the great tidings birthdays bring
Praying and wishing you a longer life
Devoid of all discord and strife

Words may not be enough
Yet! Tis our gift from birth
Served to us on a silver platter
To serve the world on a golden platter

Here we come, NASA
With your long awaited answer
We'll deal with that another day
But for now, its Tia's birthday!
