Battle cry, distant songs of war
Clinging axes with one accord
9 feet giants, in iron amour
Colored teeth like piano keys
Brutish anger in every breath
Rallying after the master warlord
We're at war! We're at war!
All that echoes in human minds,
When they stump their huge feet
Against the dry earth beneath
Men are no longer men
Women and children, insignificant
Alas! Fear has gripped us all
The scavengers have sensed it
An impending bumper harvest
They fill the skies in their numbers
Flying around in wait
For the separation of soul from body
The carcass of them too weak
Perhaps strong enough to embrace death
The end has beckoned
While we still slumber
A prophecy taken for granted
We should have listened!
Enslaved by arrogance
Soaked in insolence
We should have heeded!
Flee! Said, the revelation
Yet haughty as we were
We chose to stay and fight
Bravery or foolishness?
Well, the giants have come
And we are no better prepared
Drunken from hard liquor
Our death has come
The Holy Books are fulfilled!
